Dr. Singh-Behl is a board certified dermatologist and a
fellowship trained Mohs micrographic surgeon.
She was accepted into a competitive combined six-year BS/MD program
while still in high school. This allowed
her to finish her undergraduate work in 2 years with a double major in biology
and chemistry. She received her MD
degree at the age of 24 from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of
Medicine.
She completed her internship in internal medicine and
dermatology residency at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic. She served as the chief resident, vice
president of the House Staff Association and other committees that impacted
resident issues. Dr. Singh-Behl was an
associate staff at the Cleveland Clinic for 4 years before deciding to pursue a
one year fellowship in Mohs micrographic and laser surgery.
In 2007, Dr. Singh-Behl joined Deerfield Dermatology
Associates, Ltd. and serves as the Mohs micrographic surgeon for the
practice. Additionally, her expertise is
in the early detection of skin cancer and skin examinations, surgical removal
of benign and malignant lesions. Her surgical
expertise makes her natural in injecting dermal fillers and Botox. Other cosmetic interests include chemical
peels and laser surgery of facial and leg veins.
She currently serves as the specialty director on the Alumni
Board at the Cleveland Clinic. She is an
active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs
Surgery, and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Singh-Behl has staff privileges at the
Northshore University Health System hospital group.
